Volunteer Opportunities

Hot Lunch Program

Help organize and distribute hot lunches. Volunteers needed on a regular or drop-in basis.

Event Setup & Support

Assist with setting up, running, and cleaning up school events like fundraisers and spirit days.

Fundraising Committee

Help plan and execute fundraising campaigns that support school programs and activities.

Communications

Help spread the word about council activities through newsletters, social media, and more.

Join the Parent Council

The S. Bruce Smith Parent Council meets monthly during the school year. All parents and guardians are welcome to attend meetings and participate in council activities. No formal membership is required — just show up!

If you're interested in taking on a leadership role, council executive positions are elected at the Annual General Meeting each September.
