Learn about the S. Bruce Smith Parent Council

Our Mission

The S. Bruce Smith Parent Council — formally registered as the S. Bruce Smith Fundraising Society — works to enhance the educational experience of all students at our school. We serve as a voice for parents, support school programs through fundraising and volunteering, and foster a strong sense of community among families.

What We Do

Fundraising

Operating as the S. Bruce Smith Fundraising Society, we organize fundraising events throughout the year to support school programs, equipment, and activities that benefit all students.

Volunteering

We coordinate volunteer efforts for school events, hot lunch programs, and other activities that keep our school running smoothly.

Advocacy

We represent parent perspectives to school administration and the Edmonton Public School Board on matters that affect our children's education.

Community

We build connections between families through events and activities, creating a welcoming and supportive school community.
